Happy Father's Day!

We have a wonderful father in this house! Matt has a lot of interesting skills and interests. This past year Matt has taken to gardening, and done wonders with our planter out front. Lexi really enjoys spending time with him out there as well.




This vine has taken off, and now reaches the top of the trellis.

Brooklynn is in Lexi's room looking out the window at her Dad and Lexi.

Lexi and Brooklynn have been spending a lot of time in Lexi's room lately. They like to pull all the toys out of the toy box and make a big mess, but the girls are happy so I don't mind.

So Happy Father's Day from the Hall House! Hope it's a good one and all our love to our Dad's!

Zoo Hoppers

If you know us, you know we love the zoo! Although we've never been, we've heard terrible things about the Austin zoo, so we travel up to the Waco zoo whenever we need a good outing. Last weekend we decided to head south and check out the San Antonio Zoo. It was crazy hot and busy, but we enjoyed ourselves regardless. They have some neat exhibits there and several animals that Waco doesn't, but after it was all said and done, I'm glad we have Waco memberships instead of San Antonio.


There is a hippo in there.




This was my favorite, half a zebra, half a horse. Lexi was convinced it was a zebra, but had painted itself with horse paint.

Play Group

Our ward has started a play group, and this past week we met at the local sprinkler park to enjoy some Texas heat and fun friends.

Moving to Austin has been a great experience for us, and I've been so lucky to meet such cool people out here. Dana is this awesome gal who is super talented in a lot of ways. Cute Pictures and Cool Friends

A few months back our Relief Society did a service auction, where I waited diligently to bid on a photo tips and pics session with Katie Evans. I was so excited when I won! Katie took these great pictures of my two girls. It's my plan to do the whole family in the Fall so look out for an awesome family picture around Christmas time :)
