Trip to 'Nam

Matt Here.

My MBA group took a class trip for our international business trip. If you're envisioning yellow buses, permission slips and petting zoos, you're pretty close.

Everyone asks how Vietnam was; truth is it was dirty and crowded and stank of urine and rotten fish everywhere. Besides that it was great. While I wasn't too impressed with Saigon, I had a blast with the group; here are some photos to prove it.

I arrived a day before most, so I walked around the city for a while. This is where you order your Filet O' Fish. Eel is extra.
Instead, I opted for this classic bowl of Vietnamese "pho" for my first meal. Not bad for $3.

I ran into this random pagoda while walking down the wrong alley. Iguess it all worked out. These are all over the city.

Apparently everyone goes to the zoo for the weekend, which I can totally relate to. People bring their own hammocks and string them up. Look closely at the tree; this is tree number 1259. All the trees are numbered at the zoo, definitely the best way to keep from losing any of them.

More to come soon.
