I took Brooklynn in for her 6 month check up, and she gained less than a pound in the 2 month period. The kid refuses to take a bottle of any kind, so we have been told to hit the solid foods hard and fatten this little girl up.

A Valentine's to be thankful for
A few months back I scored a turkey from the store for a great price. We've been waiting for a good weekend to cook it up, and I thought Valentine's would be as good as any. We invited our good friends the Evan's, as well as the Barlow's to enjoy our Thanksgiving feast.
Brooklynn, hanging out while we got things ready in the kitchen.
Matt getting ready to carve the turkey.
Everyone getting ready to sit down to dinner.
Lonna watching over the kiddy table.
Yummy!

She says, 'yuck mom, peas are nasty!'

But peaches seem to make everyone happy.

What a great time of life this is for you guys!!
Yeah I think that peaches are always on the favorite list for the baby food. I think that she is starting to look bigger already...well at least I think that she is well on her way.
You did an amazing job on the Thanksgiving meal. Maybe you should stock up on the turkeys and we can do that all the time, just as long as I am not the one that has to prepare the bird. Thanks for that dinner it was so yummy.
