Too much fun...

We have been having lots of fun around here. The week of Easter was like on non-stop egg hunt, and I have lots of pictures to show for it, however I find I am overwhelmed by so many pictures, so I've decided to blog every day this week, highlighting one event at a time, until I catch up, so as not to drowned you (and myself) in pictures of our life. So here is event number one.

The Round Rock Easter Egg Hunt at Old Settler's Park. Good time to meet up with friends, bad time to really get any decent candy, meet the easter bunny, or sit on a fire truck.

There were lots and lots of kids there, so the egg/candy hunt went fast, lucky Lexi was able to find a stepped on hershey kiss and a tootsie roll :) As we exited the hunt, the line to sit on the Easter bunny's lap was closed off, so we made our way over to the fire truck line. Just as we were getting close enough to have the kids jump on, that mean old Easter bunny cut in line, and took off on the truck. Needless to say we weren't having great feelings about that bunny or those fire men that day. We did let Lexi get close enough to the bunny to take her picture while some othe kid sat on his lap.

Boo to the hijacking Easter Bunny and a run away fire truck, but I was glad that it was a nice day, and we were all able to have a little bite of lunch together.

Lexi and the sneaking to get a picture with the Easter Bunny was totally a crack up, I am glad that she has a role model like Matt to push her to do things like cut in line and steal the thunder of lady cutting off the line. Good work Lexi.
