Blast these Utah winters! The day did end on a good note however, Matt brought home these gorgeous flowers. So even though there is snow on the ground, I can pretend it's spring in the house with my spring bouquet.

Bad mood!
So I was sitting in Relief Society last Sunday, and the lesson got to how grateful some of the sisters are that they could live in the shadow of the prophet and that we have so many temples here in 'Happy Valley', and how they would never want to live out in the 'Wicked Wicked World'. I had to try REALLY hard not to roll my eyes or scoff to loud. The wicked wicked world huh? Well the apostles spend most of their time out of Utah with those wicked people! Now don't get me wrong, the temples truly are a blessing, and there are a lot of religious advantages to living in Utah, but the truth is I think Utah is overrated! I want to get out into the wicked wicked world as fast as I can! Wait, let me go back, I should apologize. I'm glad people have pride in Utah, it is a good place to live, and we have some really great friends here! But in all honesty, I don't really understand the whole I was born in Utah, I live in Utah, and I'm not going anywhere else mentality. The world has a lot to offer, and the people of the world (regardless of their religion) have a lot to offer. Expand your horizons! Anyway, I'll jump down from my soapbox now and hope I still have some friends here :) I'm in a particularly bad mood because it snowed today...yes I know it's April, I don't think we got the memo that it is suppose to be SPRING! Yesterday we hit 80 degrees and Lexi and I spent the evening in the park, but today we dropped 50 degrees, that is not a typo, we went from 80 down to 30 degrees today. It was a really sad day! So Lexi and I did what we usually do when it snows, we went to the mall! She got some really cute shoes, and we played on the toys.

Blast these Utah winters! The day did end on a good note however, Matt brought home these gorgeous flowers. So even though there is snow on the ground, I can pretend it's spring in the house with my spring bouquet.

Oooo.. flowers! That is really nice! AND, I am still your friend even though I was born in Utah and still live in Utah. The farthest I've gotten away is Idaho... lol. But I've always dreamed of going on an adventure to the East or West Coast... everyone is doing it - with hubbies going to grad school and all. But, we are kinda stuck here for a while. I like Utah, but I'd also love a chance in the wicked world...lol.. sheesh...some people really don't seem to hear what they are saying! Don't they know that it is not true and that there are possibly others around them that aren't from Utah? What about the stat that says there are more members outside of the USA than inside. What do they think about that? :)
Yay! Cute little girl shoes! We love 'em!
Oh and since I live in the wicked, wicked world, I claim dibs on being the Wicked Witch.
Well, we live in NYC and moving to LA....we must be the wickedest of all.
Come back to CA. It's the only reasonable solution.
