Hot Date!

So Matt and I don't get out on dates as much as I'd like, but there is no one to blame but us. I guess we just don't think far enough in advance, and when we think, wouldn't it be nice to go out tonight....it's a little late to make phone calls for a sitter. We do go out pretty regularly when family comes to town, but then it's usually dinner or a movie, nothing too original. (although anything with just the two of us is something to get excited about) But we've been talking about going out on a date for a couple weeks now, so I finally booked a babysitter for Saturday night. Matt told me if I got coverage for Lexi, he would plan the date. So of course I'm thinking, ok he'll pick the place to eat and the movie to see, and that'll be it. Which don't get me wrong, that's great, but I only mention it because that's not the case, he went above and beyond and got us tickets to go see a musical at the Capital Theater downtown! A real night on the town, now that's something worth blogging about :)
