Long Day

Matt here.

I'm really in for a long day. Twice a year my month end contractual and variances are reviewed and I have nothing to do but wait around incase the reviewer has any questions or needs additional info. Add to this the fact that there is very little sports news to read, I'm in for a long day with nothing to do but work myself into a nervous wreck in anticipation of the BIG Lakers game tonight. Can the Lakers force a game 7 tonight? Will Kendrick Perkins play with his bum shoulder? How effective will Pierce be, or Kobe for that matter? Can Pau and Lamar step up? Will KG continue to cement his legacy as a world class choke artist? Do we need to put the entire Lakers bench on the side of milk cartons? Where the heck did Chris Mihm come from?

Do you see what I'm going through? This is going to be a long day.

Rightfully so, those Lakers are so, well to watch my language, you just can't count on them. And, they'll be in Boston. I wouldn't bet one dime on them, sorry.
I suggest you clean out your desk, write letters to family, make paper airplanes, maybe count sheep.

I like how mom was about to swear about the lakers. I've found a few sites I always visit when I have these long days with nothing to do. Most are financial blogs, but I can get you the list if you're into it. The other thing I do is search for books online I've wanted to read. There are a lot out there.
Bummer about the Lakers but they didn't bring their a-game to game 6.
Next year.
